This my profile picture on my gmail account. This picture was drawn on my first day as a teacher by a student in my class. I like this photo because I feel it genuinely represents who am and where i'm at. There is very little info about me on social media platforms. I haven't posted to my facebook account since my daughter was born a year and half ago and prior to that was a post about my son's birth nearly 4 years ago. In my profile (which hasn't been updated in several years) I have a quote by St. Augustine, favorite musical artists including the Staple Singers, Mississippi Fred McDowell, and favorite books such as Travels with Charley by John Steinbeck. If you viewed my facebook it's mostly bare since kids showed up. Prior to that you would see that I was in a band.
Can you add a bit of information about who you are and what you teach?
ReplyDeleteLove the image! That is awesome that you used the picture they drew on the first day for your email account. I should do the same as I have had students draw for me as well. I am an avid Facebook user, but see myself diminishing my usage the older I get. I do not have any children yet, but could see myself being too busy to use my personal profile!
